We allow minor changes to the count as late as 24 hours before the event. We will bill you for the last count given.
Can we bring a cake or baked goods?
You will notice that most items on our banquet menu include dessert. We do not adjust our billing if you elect to bring your own dessert, but we can and will serve your dessert. For example, we serve your cake with ice cream, etc.
How does your bar service work?
As a licensee, The Terrace is responsible for supplying and serving all alcoholic beverages. This is in accordance with provisions of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Therefore, patrons are not allowed, by law, to bring in alcoholic beverages or enter our bar area. Our bar is always closed during dinner. Our waitresses double as bartenders to spare you the expense of paying a bartender. We consider serving dessert as part of dinner. Once dessert is served, the bar will be re-opened.
Is it possible to have decorations?
We allow decorations to be put up with certain limitations, for example: no nails, or tracks, no "Scotch" tape. Also, timing of the decorating is dependent upon other use of the rooms.
What type of restrictions are imposed with regard to entertainment?
We need to be made aware of the entertainment you are planning as soon as possible. We reserve the right to deny certain entertainment we feel inappropriate for our family oriented business. Example - strippers for bachelor parties.
How are children's meals and prices handled?
Children may order from our children's dining room menus, however, these arrangements must be discussed in advance. Children's "family style" or "buffet" meals will be billed a follows:
Ages 0-3 No charge
Ages 4-7 50%
Ages 8-11 75%
For the "platter' type functions, we will package leftovers as we would for dinning room dinners. For "family style" or "buffet" banquets we will package "to go" meals for those who couldn't make the event. Beyond that, all leftovers will remain at The Terrace and will be disposed of as we deem appropriate.

Is the event a "surprise", or can we have signs placed outside?
Will there be a "social" period before the meal? If so, you may request: "Cash Bar" - each person pays their own; "Limited Bar" - You select items we are to serve and cost is tabulated and added to your bill; "Open Bar" - Guests order what they want and cost is tabulated and added to your bill.
How are the tables to be arranged.
Your color scheme or theme? We have available silk flowers in a number of colors. We also have white or gold table clothes, and white, or gold and red napkins.
Will you want a "toast" served? Champagne... Wine... Sparkling Grape Juice?
Time meal is to be served.
